Not all of the nose cones fitted perfectly. Some were really very tight while others were not at all tight. Some were spot on.
Hi Nigel. Thanks for the review but we need to sort out those inconsistances in sizes for you. Coincidentally, I've just fitted two brand new Tricast ultra margins and when you stand some of the same sections on there ends, the same section from two different poles are different lengths! A nightmare when I'm trying to fit a pole cone. Let me have the details/measurements and we'll sort it out for you.

Nice product But.......
Nice product, but they make the sections longer so they won’t fit in the pole, which then won’t fit in the protection tube. Which then makes it a tight fit in the holdall.
Hi Brian . On some of the poles the sections are an identical length. This does create and issue when fitting any pole cone as when you pack them away the smaller section will stick out the other end by at least the depth of the pole cone. It does apply all poles and every section, but I acknowledge the point you have raised. Hopefully the benefit of a pole cone outweighs the issue you have highlighted when packing away the pole.

Brilliant piece of kit.
Stiff, light and really strong, since I first started using it, I haven’t yet gone back to my main pole. I won’t too, unless I need to fish 12m or more, or where there's no monster carp.
hi just a quick one, had my set of pro carbon cones today fitted them in around 30 mins and all i can say is "wow" what a fantastic product every one fits perfectly. definitely the only ones i will be using 5stars all the way

Thanks Chris . We agree which is why we only make pure PTFE kits cones as one piece items. We looked at producing the 3D printed versions with a PTFE tube insert but we decided not to for two reasons. 1. A PTFE tubing insert isn’t the same quality as Virgin PTFE and therefore doesn’t do the job as well when reducing the amount of friction. 2. The nature of 3 printing means the cones are built up by small layers of filament. These layers over time will hold dirt and grit both of which you don’t want anywhere near you elastic. VIrgin PTFE rules when it comes to Kit Cones in our opinion.
Got Tricast poles 980 trilogy pro 2 and icon every protector that I used fitted perfect but one that had to be glued that good on 3 poles great bit of kit saved a fortune on pole section thank again grateful customer.
