I have messaged but heard nothing back I found that the cones do not fit snug to ends I have attached photo
Sorry for delay in responding. I was away for a few days and just catching up with messages.
Your point about the cones not covering fully the outer edge of the pole section is the principle difference between the Pro PTFE cones you’ve had before and the club cones you recently purchased.
This is due to limitations in the production of the Club cones. These cones are 3D printed by place a hot plastic liquid onto a flat bed and then building up the cone layer by layer in a circular movement. The issue cones when you need to print horizontally (to create the lip of the cone) . There is a limit as to how far you can print at a right angle before gravity takes over and the print fails. This does not apply to our Pro Cones as they are turn on a lathe from a solid tube of PTFE.
The club cones will provide valuable protection against any direct impact on the pole section and if it’s dropped will also provide a degree of protection. They do not however address issues such as carbon wear like our Pro Cones do.
What I would say is that our club design is the only one on the market that attempts to have a edge. All of the other 3D printed cones have no outside lip leaving sections totally exposed.
The club cones are an entry level pole protection product, and I believe that is reflected in the price. The only cones to provide total protection are the Pro Cones.
I hope that answers your question.
